Office 2007 is missing 'My sharepoint site' in Vista

I have a computer with Windows Vista and Windows XP Pro. When i work in Windows XP, i have no problem with Office 2007. When in Vista and using word or powerpoint, i no longer get my sharepoint sites. When i noticed this, i booted in XP just to cross verify and it exist in Windows XP and from Vista this is missing... Any help!?

When did you notice this change? Was it not available from the start or it suddenly disappear? Did you update Windows Vista or Office 2007 after which this change has occured? Is SP1 for Vista already installed? If not i would recommend you install the SP1 before you get the option back, because installing Vista SP1 will again make this option disappear...

I have SP1 for Vista installed already. I installed it some days again and I guess it made the 'My sharepoint site' to disappear. Do i need to uninstall Office 2007 and install it again? Or do i need to uninstall Vista SP1? Help..!

Installing Vista SP1 sometimes causes this problem and it is reported by many people. Well Navigate to your 'My Site' and see at the top right corner. Do you see the 'Set as default My Site' option available? If it is available click on it. Reboot your computer now open MS-Word and click on "My SharePoint Sites". After few moments it would appear.
