VLC 1.0 Release Candidate 3

A new Release Candidate is available for the VLC media player. This RC3 corrects a number of problems, especially under Mac OS X.

Here is the list of major changes:

• Repair VLC for Mac PowerPC
• Update translations
• Multiple fixes for Mac OS X
• Several corrections for certain formats, including SCT20
• Repair of language bindings for python
• Various other fixes
• So even the stability that is refined with the release of the final version. Note that version 1.0.1 should follow shortly after, depending on the number of problems which have been reported.

It will not wait very long before the final version. Moreover, it should provide support for the E-AC3 and Spectral SV8, which is not the case with the current RC3.

• No Operating System required
• Skin should work on VLC 1.0.0-rc1 and be conform with the spec
• VLC Skins Editor can be used (advised)
• One person can submit up to 2 skins
• One person can submit a skin that was posted on videolan website in the last 3 month
• Skins should follow the following specifications

VLC is quite a Swiss Army knife, but there is a function that I find in any other that it display the end time of the film , this idea is very nice I think it avoid me to try to calculate what time I go to bed when I'm already tired and that I hesitate to start my an episode of such series
