| remove name of older os 4m boot screen
i have installed 2 xp in 2 seprate drives , now unstalled one but on boot screen the name comes of both os... how to remove name of older os..... ![]() |

Ok. I had this same situation several times and I DID got out of it. So all you got to do is go to the boot.ini file (if its windows) in C:\ and remove the older entry leaving the current OS as it is! Next time it won't show the "option" or "choice" of OS when the computer starts.... |

To remove boot screen, Click Start > Run and type MSCONFIG in the run dialog box to launch the System Configuration Utility. On the BOOT.INI tab, check the box next to /NOGUIBOOT and click OK. The next time you reboot your computer, you'll see the BIOS screen and then nothing until Windows loads completely. |
