"the path is not of a legal form" CRM for Outlook

Recently I arrived across an unknown error message. It occurred when I was installing CRM components for my Microsoft Outlook. The message that pops up: "the path is not of a legal form". Do you have any idea about this error message? Can you provide me some solution for this?

Even I had such issued during CRM Data Migration Manager installation. However registry tweak should fix this. Just navigate to below mentioned registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
    Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\59DD8CB00184F24E99A62CF4D6109FA\InstallProperties

Now set the Data value of "InstallLocation" to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM". This should solve the problem.

The problem is the form is trying to locate one of the referenced types that is missing on your form. Try cleaning the project using the right-click 'Clean Option' in Solution Explorer. May be you have some unknown characters in the path of your local user. You should also delete the assemblies in C:\Documents and Settings\UserLogged\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ProjectAssemblies!
