Restrict Internet Explorer’s Accessibility Settings changes

I work on Windows 7 operating system in my office and my default web browser is Internet Explorer 7. In my absence, my colleagues use to make some changes in the accessibility settings of my IE browser for their use and i need to make them correct when i am back to my pc. Is there any way i can restrict changing the accessibility settings in IE7 ? Please help.

Well, you can do that easily with some changes in registry. Follow this simple steps:-

Go to your windows Start menu and in the search box type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

Now locate to the following folder:-

    User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer
You will find Disable changing accessibility settings Option on the right side, double click on it.

Now in the dialog box opened, select the dot of Enabled and click Ok.

Close the registry and you are done. !! thats it..

If you are on a Domain you can prevent certain users from using IE by writing a Group Policy. Or you can also restrict users changing privacy settings by going to the following folder in the registry:-

    User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel
Double-click the Disable The Privacy Page policy and select the Enabled and click Ok.. Thats it
