hp toolbox not working in vista

i am using an HP Laser Jet & was running Vista on my computer but i am not able to use toolbox in it. i tried many tweaks here but was not worthy. After that i tried with HP Support but i didn't get it. In my thinking vista doesnot support HP toolbox.

The drivers in the Windows Vista operating system do not support button press functionality on the product. The Solution :

1. Click the Windows icon, click Programs , and then click Accessories .
   
   
2. Click Paint .
   
   
3. Click File , and then click From Scanner or Camera .
   
   
4. Click Scan .

Another solution for it :

1. Click the Windows icon ( ), click Programs , and then click Windows Fax and Scan.
   
   
2. Click New scan.
   
   
3. Click File , and then click Scan.
