    Windows/PCHealth corrupt file

Hi all, I'm new and in desperate need of help please. I am not very computer literate so can you please tell me in very simple language how to fix my problem. Many thanks.

I had a pop up message that stated:

Windows Corrupt File. The file C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\Help\PackageStore\SkuStore.bin is corrupt and unreadable. Run the Chdsk Utility.

I have no idea what it all means and no idea how to "run the Chdsk Utility" or where to find it.

Could someone with some patience please help me through this one?

    Many thanks

Go to start menu, click on 'run'. Type 'cmd' and press Enter Now type "chkdsk C:" without quotations. This will start the check disk utility...! All the best!

    Hi
After U run chkdsk read the results check for bad sectors as may b indication of disk damage ...listen for any strange grinding or repeated disk sounds whilst scanning .....if problem continues consider a new hard disk

your hard disk contain bad sectors chkdsk must recover them if this bad sectors are not due to physical damage you can recover or repair them by using HHD regenrater application download full version from web site make bootable disk from that application and repair bad sector other wise new hard disk is option.

Thank you one and all for your replies to my query. For some strange reason, the very next day, it all came good without me doing anything. I will keep your replies should it happen again in the future. Thanks so much.
