No icon for card reader

I have downloaded latest driver for my 8 Gb card reader. I am running windows vista on my computer. The problem is my card reader drives have no names or icons, when i open my computer it shows all the three drive letter but icon for my card reader is missing. Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Try to download driver for card reader form other site or reinstall the drive. Are you sure your computer is detecting your card reader. Can you see that card reader in computer management > disk management?

In Windows explorer go to tools in that tool option select folder options then select file types. Click on the drive icon in the menu and then click on the advanced button. After changing the setting you wiil find the option to change the drive icon. Once you click on that you can find the drive icon in the icon cache that pops up and just choose the drive icon.
