    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\system 32\DRIVERS\Mup.sys

    I'm getting following error on my Windows XP Home Edition.

    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\system32\DRIVERS\Mup.sys
    , I've tried booting in safe mode , but then also PC keeps rebooting from the windows logo boot screen at startup.

    Please HELP.

    Try using a chkdsk utility , the issues with mup.sys happen because of disk issues. Also try system restore to previous date when it was working fine. Hope this will help.

    Try running it in recovery console. At the command prompt type: chkdsk C: /R

    To access recovery console you'll need your installation disk.
