Windows XP Media Center faills to boot
after using windows xp 2005 bootable cd to repair my system i got an error that windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt \windows\system32\config\system.SAV, then it said you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM, select 'r' at the first screen to start repair. please can anyone help . thanks in advance |

\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.SAV This refers to a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from starting. View this MS article for the long solution of this error. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 |
