    Unable to create temporary folder

    I get error message "possible cause:you do not have have proper permission to create files or folders in your temporary folder" when i try to install winzip from file that i downloaded. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

    Have you tried downloading Winzip from a different source or location.Could be a corrupt download ?? Is your HDD full by any chance? that would result in the error when you try to install wizip.

    Edit your autoexec.bat, if you delete that file then you have to take backup copies on the root directory of the hard drive.

    Click on start,run and enter: sysedit

    -or-

    Click on start,run and enter: edit
    Click on file, open, and enter: C:\Autoexec.bat


    Edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and after editing enter this following table :

    SET TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
    SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS=TEMP
