    Multiple Operating Systems

hello ppl, this is krishna my first post here.

i have this doubt i am planning to have multi boot windows 7, XP, ubuntu 9.04, ELIVE, and RED HAT. i have had 2 os's before XP and hardy harton but not more than that.

i am hoping i can have this setup, if i can what is the order i need to install? i will be doing a fresh install of all the OS's.

it would be even better if i cold have more.

and i am sorry if this has been discussed earlier, i was too lazy to search.
hope i have not started with a wrong foot forward

    thank you Lillebror

i read the posts i have the same plan, but it will take time for me to get my hands of the os's so until then i will use virtual pc as suggested by some one, i will install ubuntu 9.04 and dream on it. once i have a good collection of os's i will install them normally.

thank you once again for the reply

    Re: Multiple Operating Systems

You have to create the appropriate sized partitions. From there you have to install the OS's. With all of this I highly doubt you will be able to keep Windows 7 and still be able to boot it flawlessly. I think installing Linux distros afterwards will be better.

If your planning to do multiple booting of operating system. Try to use an OS Selector. I have here in my computer Windows 7, Windows XP SP2, UBUNTU and FREEBeOS. I'm using a Acronis OS Selector.
