Installing SATA Drivers for Win XP Pro

I have the driver for the 82801GBM SATA AHCI controller from the Intel page downloaded and unpacked. The following six files (iaahci.cat; iaahci.inf; iastor.cat; iastor.inf; iastor.sys and txtsetup.oem) I then tried to copy onto a USB stick by pressing F6.

This, however, always the following error message: "d.xpsprtm\base\boot \setup\oemdisk.c"

I hope you can help me.

    Hi,

If the driver during the installation at all needed?
If yes, the win xp cd has already integrated drivers in it..
If you purchased extra WinXP searched, would be to integrate this driver with nLite a possibility, since this Windows driver on a floppy disk looks forward to the drive letter A:.

As disk drive using a USB key that is recognized as floppy drive A:.
It is much more convenient because I have another computer (laptop) on which I can load the drivers on the USB key.

Yet on many forums they say that it takes drivers because XP handles the SATA. Afterwards, you may be right ...

I found several. ZIP files with "drivers".
The problem is that there are many files, I do not know which files and which files to put on the USB stick ...

First, you must launch a new install of xp. it will detect the old and the time it will offer to repair it.

if not for your problem usb floppy drive (that is still not practical ). you know the rar-exe from the windows disk to a folder (winrar will display an error but this is normal. With WinImage then you open this file, you then select disk -> disk letter of your floppy. then image -- > change format -> import from currently selected disk. then write disk. you should have as a result of this copy on your floppy drive usb.
