Explorer freezes on opening Network

I have installed Windows 7 RC recently and had no problems with it. But when i tried to access my network, by clicking on the Network icon on explorer, it keeps loading and green indicator on the address bar and suddenly freezes. Then it gives me a dialog box saying "Explorer stopped responding" it gives me two choices :

• Wait for the program to respond
• Restart the program

I cannot connect to the network! Can anyone help me!?

Are you able to connect to any other network services? Like LAN Games and internet? If you cannot do that, either you have a problem with the LAN switch or the LAN cable. Try replacing those and check if it works. This is not 100% solution but may work. Even system related problem might exist.

Can you ping the local loop back address that is 127.0.0.1? If you can ping this address, the problem is somthing else, but if not, then TCP/IP stack is not installed properly. Check in services if any of such services has started. Also try to install the LAN drivers again.

I instaled the drivers for my LAN adpater again, also tried to ping the loop back address and i can ping it, i used the spare switch to check the network and also replaced the cable but still the same problem. I can ping other's computers and play lan games properly. I can also use IPMSG to talk and send/recieve files but just the network cannot be browsed in explorer...
