hello friends,
I want to disable the startup sound in my Windows Vista. How can I do the same ? Can anybody help me
providing the information relating this.....
Any ideas.....
To disable the Windows login sound and related sounds -
- Go to Start. Click Settings > select Control Panels > select "Sounds and Audio Devices".
- Click on the "Sounds" tab
- Scroll down just a bit. You'll find Start Windows and Windows Logon.
- Those are the two options you want to change or disable entirely. To change them, click on the pop-up menu that currently says "Windows Vista Startup"
- To disable them: You need to also click on the pop-up menu, but this time you are interested in the top option:
- Select (None), click "Apply".
That's it. now your computer will startup without any sound.....
Follow the instructions below -
In Windows Vista,
> Open Control Panel and type sound in the search box.
> From the search results, (check the sounds section) click on the change system sounds link.
> Uncheck the box next to Play Windows Startup sound and click OK.
Done. Next time, when you startup your computer, there will be no startup sound played.
