Hey!
Why do you want to install DirectX9 when you already have DirectX 10? I don't think downgrading Directx is worth. And i don't think that is even possible! If you have a third party software you can uninstall it and then install the previous or downgraded version but not with the default windows components If you have any problems with it try to update it and not downgrade it. All the best!
Hey!
I wan't to downgrade the DX because my games doesn't work well with Vista. You might say my graphics card is at problem, yeah the problem is with my graphics card. Well its not faulty but it supports DX9 and not DX 10. My games would work fine when i was unsing Windows XP which had Direct X 9.0c. Can anyone else help me..!? Thanks!
Hey! Well i am not sure but you can install Direct X 9 on your Vista computer. This will not be affecting your computer's stability. No need to uninstall or diable DirectX 10 just install the DirectX 9 and it will work along with DirectX 10. This is done by me once i was on Windows Vista. Hope this help you. You can download DX9 from microsoft's site : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en. All the best...
