First you need to export Windows Registry to a text file so that it can be transfered to another computer. But to do so you need to work with registry itself. So follow this simple steps:-

    1. Open Registry Editor and on the file menu click Export.
    2. Now in File name, enter a name for the registry file.
    3. Under Export range click All and Click Save.

Thats it. You can now transfer this text to any computer.

To transfer your registry favorites which you use again and again, go through this steps:-

    1. Go to Start > Run > Type regedit.exe > Enter.

    2. Now locate this folder : HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Applets \ Regedit \ Favorites

    3. Now right click on the Favorites key and choose Export and save it as a .reg file.

Now you can transfer the registry to the target computer through USB or a Floppy drive, right-click on the registry and then choose Merge.

    Thats it..

Back up the current registry file before importing the new file, in case the new file does not work well with your Windows settings.Import a registry file without opening regedit by double-clicking the file name.
