How to add files to bootable ISO image

Sponsored Links
Hey!
I have downloaded Mint Linux 6 iso file which is around 700 MB. Is it possile to add files to the image so upto 4GB so that i can then burn the image to a DVD instead of the CD. I want to create a DVD which i can carry as sole DVD which would have all the stuffs that i need while installing the OS and after that for installing other softwares too... So that could eliminate the need of multiple CDs. Please help Guys! Thanks!

Re: How to add files to bootable ISO image

Hey!
There is a easiest way to do this without any worries and hecticness. You will need UltraISO for doing this :
  • Open the ISO image with UltraISO
  • Copy the files from other CDs that you need
  • Drag the files and folder to the UltraISO window which you need to add to the DVD
  • Select DVD in the top-left option and burn the image to the DVD
  • You can save the changes to the same ISO image or save the ISO image seperately.
Isn't that easy? This can be done with all types of ISO image, be it for linux or Windows, the bootable ability will not be affected in any way. All the best!
