Did you put a Dos partition in the second drive? Does your autodetect recognize the correct cylinder# and measure the size correctly? Some systems have to use a disk manager to recognize oversize hard disks. I believe about 8gigs is one limit.

Sorry you haven't resolved this issue--I didn't hear back and was hoping you had succeeded. I wish I knew more but I just don't. I go to a forum called Overclockers. You get lots of responses. People are quick to help and very knowledgeable. You'd have to register of course, but that's easy. And look for the hardware forum or? whichever seems most appropriate to your questions and I believer you'll have a good chance of getting help. They're mainly PC but I"m sur there's some PC+Mac type user. They're rocket scientists over there. I'd include the link, but I post this response earlier and it doesn't appear? I included the link.
