Hi,
The screen goes black after you change the screen resolution or screen refresh rate
To work around this problem and restore the screen, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type desk.cpl, and then click OK.
- Click the Settings tab, and then set the screen resolution to a supported resolution by moving the slider bar to the setting that you want.
- Click Advanced, and then click the Monitor tab.
- In the Screen refresh rate list, click60 Hertz, and then click OK two times to apply the changes.
Hey!
Well i guess you need to update your graphics driver or you need to replace your graphic card. Well may be try repairing windows setup. Even that could help.. But media center requires a compatible graphics card... I know this as i had this problem with my Windows XP SP2 Media Center Edition 2005
All those setting were already set like you said so I don't thinks that's the problem
Hello , If the whole of media center is black you have an unusual problem.
There may be a Microsoft note on it, there are certainly many fixes etc for media center edition that dont automatically get downloaded on windows update. You should also make sure you have the drivers for XP media center edtion and not the XP ones. and also please be more specific when Posting your Question , I did not understand that song things Hope it Work For you
It was working for a while,I've started it once, did some setting but then after few restarts everything gone wrong
