ALWAYS RIGHT - OTHER WISE I WUDNT SEY IT
do you have a UDF packet software installed under Vista?? it is not part of the original installation. You can download a UDF reader program for free from Roxio: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/udfw...inupdates.html
Just a guess here, but you transferred the file to a DVD. What you are supposed to do is "Burn the image" to a DVD. Consult your DVD software for how to do this. Also, check this website for more information about using an unstable, incomplete operating system.

I use Adaptec direct cd Wizard. When I eject my cd that I have made a box comes up with two options. The first one ask me if I want to leave the disc as it is so that it can be read and written through drive letter access in the future.(Means that you can only read the cd in a cd/writer.) The second option ask if you want to organize the disc so that it can be read in most standard CD-ROM drives under Windows 95/98 and Windows 4.0 NT Service pack 3 or greater and Windows 2000.
I don't know what program you are using to make cd's but if you are using the same as me you need to select the second option when ejecting your disc. That will enable you to read your cd from another computer.
Hope that helps.
