Problem with Windows Defender in Windows 7

    Hey!
I have a problem with my windows 7 and windows defender. Everytime i boot my computer it shows me that windows defender is inactive... How do i get rid of this problem. I know windows 7 is still beta and may have problem. Windows shows me this error sometimes when i install a new program...! Any idea? Is this a problem with the beta version or something is really wrong with my computer? Thanks!

To remove Windows Defender from Windows :

1.On the Start menu, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Defender.
2.Exit Windows Defender. (Click the arrow next to the help icon and point to Exit Windows Defender).
3.On the Start menu, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
    4.Click Windows Defender.
5.Click Remove, and then in the dialog box that follows, click Yes.

Actually, Windows Defender is part of Windows 7, so it can't be uninstalled, but you can do what I did. You can stop its service from running.
Go Start, and in "Start Search" type in:
    services.msc
    Hit Enter.

Services window will open. Find Windows Defender service.
Right click on it, and click Stop.
Right click again, click Properties, and under Startup type select Disabled from drop-down menu.
