Yes , it is possible to install Vista i less than 512 Ram. To install, try this :-
- Boot from Windows Vista DVD
- Select your Regional settings and click on Next.
- On the setup screen click on Repair your computer and proceed next to get System Recovery Options.
- Here launch Command prompt and navigate to your DVD drive. Lets assume the DVD drive is E: and execute the following command to start installation.
E:\sources>setup /nosyscheck
By executing this command, setup skip checking phase of minimum system requirements and proceed next to accomplish the installation.
Now Vista will run on your computer with 512 MB of RAM
Well, thats a good trick to get Vista on 512 RAm but I recommend to increase or upgrade your RAM to run Windows Vista simple, easier and faster.
Great trick but i will never like to install Vista on the computer having less than 1GB of RAM.
