Re: hyperappel.exe, EDICT.exe in Task Manager

hello , I think Hyperapplel.exe is an ADWARE about Adware we can say it is any software application in which advertising banners are displayed while the program is running. The authors of these applications include additional code that delivers the ads, which can be viewed through pop-up windows or through a bar that appears on a computer screen. The justification for adware is that it helps recover programming development cost and helps to hold down the cost for the user. Adware has been criticized for occasionally including code that tracks a user's personal information and passes it on to third parties, without the user's authorization or knowledge.

Adware.HyperBar is an Internet Explorer Toolbar, which modifies search requests and may display advertisements.

When Adware.HyperBar is installed, it performs the following actions:
Creates the following files:
  • %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Hyperbar\Hyperbar.dll
  • %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Hyperbar\HyperbarSS1.dll
  • %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Hyperbar\HyperbarSS2.dll
  • %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Hyperbar\HyperbarSS3.dll

Edict.exe belongs to Microsoft Encarta, you have to disable the startup of Windows. edict.exe is a process which belongs to Microsoft Encarta and provides dictionary functions. "This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.\r"
