Blue screen with atidvag2.dll file fail

Hi friends,

I am having Compaq Laptop and due to some reason i try to reformat my Laptop and install Widows XP SP2. When I re-booted to complete the SP2 install after some time i am getting error as "ati2dvag driver has stopped working" then I have a blue screen. All I did was the SP2 install and it broke the ATI driver.I don't know what to do with this error message can any one fix this issue for me.

Sure i will help you out with try to reinstall ATI display driver.I am sure this would solve your Problem.

I try to do that by it's still not working for me.Is there any other solution.

I was also getting similar same type of error message with blue screen i try to follow this steps and it worked for me hope it works for you too.

1. Right click on My Computer
2. Goto Properties and clcik on Hardware
3. Goto device Manager
4. Click next to System devices
5. Again right click on CPU to AGP Controller and clcik on Update Driver(button)
