Hello , You might Need to Set Set the FLEXnet Licensing Service to Manual and Start the service. (Windows only)

    1. Choose Start > Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
    3. Double-click Services.
    4. Double-click the FLEXnet Licensing Service to open the Properties dialog box.
    5. Click the Startup Type menu, and then select Manual.
    6. Click Apply.
    7. In the Services Status section, click Start to start the service.
    8. Click Apply, and then click OK.
    9. Close all open dialogs.
    10. Start your Adobe Creative Suite 3 product.

Re: Flexnet Licensing Service Problem With Adobe

Hello , Fo this Issue of FNPLicensingServer, you Can do the Following to Solve your Problem

    1. kill the process "FNPLicensingService.exe" from the Task Manager
    2. go to \Program Files\Common Files\Macrovision Shared\FLEXnet Publisher\ and delete the 2 files "FNPLicensingService.exe" and "fnp_registrations.xml" and instead create 2 folders with the same name/extension.

when you start acrobat now it wont be able to create those 2 files which you have deleted and replaced with the folders, so FNP service wont be able to start. Hope it would be able to solve your issue

Hello , It is software for managing software licences. I would not expect to see it outside of a business environment. As you have not intentionally installed it, i Woudl Suggest removing it
