Error Message: The media is write protected - 0x80070013

Hello friends,

I am facing an issue while i am trying to backup my System State.If i try to take backup of other things it working fine i am facing this issue only with System State and getting the following error message as follows

• Error Message: The media is write protected - 0x80070013

Can anyone fix this issue for me.

Sure i will help you out with this before that may i know which operating system are you using.When you are trying to take backup.

I am using Windows Vista as my Operating system, at that time i am getting this error message and early i was able to do so,but facing this issue from few days.

Try to use sfc command and reboot your PC.I hope your problem gets solved.

I was also facing similar type of issue i try to upgrade it to 7048 and my problem got solved, hope your issue also gets fixed.
