    hi,
hpqtra08.exe is installed alongside the drivers for Hewlett Packard Imaging devices and installs an easy-to-use traybar icon for quick access to diagnostics. This is a non-essential process.Disabling or enabling it is down to user preference.

Re: How to remove hpqtra08.exe Error?

The hpqtra08.exe process provides you with a system tray icon that assists when diagnosing problems with your Hewlett Packard scanner (or other imaging device). If you do not find it useful, you can disable this process. If you do not have a Hewlett Packard scanner attached to your computer this process should be removed.

hpqtra08.exe is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing Hewlett Packard Tray (08) may adversly impact your system.

The Process Server database currently registers hpqtra08.exe to Hewlett Packard.

HPQTRA08.EXE is not suspected as virus. It is part of Hewlett Packard Imaging and this process belongs to HP Products. If you are using any HP Products it available in your task manager. If you don’t want it you can remove it. But you can continue with HPQTRA08.EXE, it will not create any problem.
