Problem with Ubuntu 9.04 beta

hi,
i have installed Ubuntu 9:04 beta on my ASUS 1000HE Netbook,it doesn't work fine.the Netbook Remix user interface is installed and since I have no window to the Minimize, Maximize and Close buttons anymore. Someone an idea how I can get back?

Try installing the core files for compiz. Metacity worked for me, but compiz core files worked for a guy in a local LUG when metacity didn't.

Trying times in a terminal enter the following:

compiz - replace &

or if it does not find

 Metacity - replace &

I have noticed that even some other things are partially missing. Not the 3 buttons are gone but in some cases, the entire window frame away as buttons such as demolition, Next or OK.
