XP invalid system time?

hi,
I have a laptop, running windows xp.the problem is it shows "invalid time/date error message" on start up.I'm pretty sure the error has to do with these settings - we saw similar problems with wxsim at one point in development.Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Re: XP invalid system time?

I think there may be a small bug in XP, my time occasionally changes all by itself - though only by a few hours rather than a few hundred years! I've been using XP Pro for 23 months now, on 3 different PC's, and it's always done it, and I've heard of it happening to quite a few others as well

Re: XP invalid system time?

An error in the algorithm that converts the date/time is not rolling the hours portion of the time over to the days portion of the date.

hi,
check all batteries -- one or more may be low which will cause it to lose the clock time.

Re: XP invalid system time?

There are just two time clocks that I know of, the one in windows and the one in the BIOS, both you are able to adjust the time and date. You may have to sync the two and then reinstall the demo.
