 Vista won't startup after installing service pack 1
Hey guys, I have this big problem with my laptop. It's an Asus with windows Vista as OS. Auto update had downloaded Service Pack 1 so I installed it through auto Update.. then it said I had to reboot my system, so I did. Then what happened was that I got the Asus welcoming screen, then the Windows loading screen, and then nothing! The screen just went black! I shut the laptop off manually - waited two hours straight first, was afraid I might ruin it - and when I turned it on again, I got "Windows error recovery", and I chose to launch Startup Repair. It said that it would bring my pc back to the state it had been in before things went bad. After that I waited six hours for it to complete the task, but nothing happened at all. I'm really desperate for what to do. Haven't had anything like this before. Any help would be welcome. Thanks!  |

Hey! I would suggest you to Repair your windows vista by booting from the Vista DVD...! This will surely fix your problem..! If that doesn't help, don't hesitate to post back...! All the best...! |
