Error message "WindowsUpdate_80070006"

Hello friends,

I am getting a windows update error when I try to update.I am this issue today only and getting error message as follows when i try to see the log file.


FATAL: Unable to connect to the service (hr=80070006)
2005-07-19 18:46:27 3092 d94 COMAPI WARNING: Unable to establish connection
to the service. (hr=80070006)
2005-07-19 18:46:27 3092 d94 COMAPI - WARNING: Exit code = 0x80070006

FATAL: Unable to initiate asynchronous search, hr=80070006



Can anyone fix this issue for me.

Sure i will help you out with this if you are having spyware running on your PC, it won't allow you update.Try to stop spyware software and then go for update hope it would solve your Problem.

Try to download the latest version of Windows Defender and then go for updates i am sure it would solve your Problem.

I try to do the above mention things but it's not working for me and for more information i am using Windows Vista 64 bit.
