Windows Vista "Prepare this blank disc" issue

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-788 and I have vista installed it, but I put a DVD that it is commercial or otherwise, it refuses to read or wants to format

it sends message >> Prepare this blank disc

How to fix that? Even if I put the original DVD of Vista , it wants to format. Toshiba, contacted: no response . In XP all were working fine.

how? Thank you for any help.

Here is a little manipulation that (if done correctly) can not hurt, and might even do good. Features.

In the Registry Editor, locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdrom\AutoRun

Its value should be 1. Switch it to 0 (if the value was already 0 go here: *). Restart the computer (*) in the back and replace the registry key value to 1. Restart again and then test its effects.
