Change workgroup to domain in windows NT 4.0

    Hello everybody,

I need to change workgroup to a domain server that is installed on Windows NT 4.0. I do not know if this is possible without having to reinstall Windows NT 4.0.

    Thank you

Well understood? Changing a NT server with the working group that is defined in a specific domain to another domain?. Windows NT in defining what users have to work that working group. And in turn, in which domain was composed of the working group.

Now, what do you want?, Remove the working groups?, Change the working groups to another domain?, Change the domain in which everything is defined? Define another domain and migrate everything mounted to it?

I do not install this equipment nor am no expert, but I see the Windows NT is installed to work under a workgroup instead of a domain under. What I want to do is change it to work under domain.
    Thanks

Watch if you want to do is just put your computer to an NT domain that you just created to the network properties and the first tab that says you give him Identification must change the option, then it is but change the Workgroup to Domain it says ready and you must leave a window that says something like Welcome to DOMAIN X works if you do not add the next step after changing to go to the Domain box that says Create a computer account in domain and the active and tries to do so with the account administrator for your network to your PC from the domain eye do you remember this only if your pc does not recognize a single domain.

Sorry, commenting is not forgotten that there is no link to an existing working group, but is to act as a primary domain controller. That is this team now has the Windows NT Server installed and the network properties I have checked the option to comment on the working group. What I want is that this team is the primary domain for all clients on the network come under his domain.

    thanks again
