How to run ASP on Linux

I wanted to ask - Is it possible to run ASP on Linux platform ? If yes, then how can I do that ? Any information or ideas....

Normally ASP runs only under windows but there' s an continuous effort being made by open source developers to port the ASP.NET framework to Linux based machines........ might be possible

Yes sure, we can do that .....
To make ASP run under Linux, PHP script files are saved as ASP extensions and are redirected to the PHP interpreter. So it looks like the server serves ASP files, but these are actually PHP scripts.
