Msvcp.dll file not found at startup

For some time, an error message appears when booting Windows Vista:
"Error loading msvcp.dll
The specified module could not be found. "

From what I read, it may be due to an installation, but I am unable to determine which.

Re: Msvcp.dll file not found at startup

Reinstall the dll file from here: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?msvcp71

Also read the "Read me" file to know where it should be moved.

Can you get into safe mode? Press F8 as soon as windows loading screen comes up.

Otherwise you can even try installing Office once again.
