In Windows XP SP3 all programs wont run

I did a scan with spybot, avg antivirus but nothing appeared to be infected. Cleaned registry with ccleaner. When I click, the hourglass appears and then nothing. I have to turn off my pc after all Manual works. Please help me.

Try to reinstall the SP3 ...
Take a look at the System Event Log (Event Log), see if there are errors.

Hard to say where the problem comes ... not much info ...
This problem has happened after something? New software installation? New hardware? Personally, I will try to reinstall SP3 and worse, attempt a repair of Windows ...

download and install this:

http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml


Then, go to Control Panel > Startup > Uncheck EVERYTHING > then restart your computer

See if that does anything.
