    Boot Error 0000007e

i installed Windows Vista Home basic (32bit).it was working perfectly. but after a period it showed me the error 0000007e with a blue screen. i tried solving the problem in F8 with everything possible in it. Then triying to run from the last successful session but it only gets worse. I don't have the cd of the OS so I can't reinstall it, and if I search for backups there is nothing.
I know this all sounds very stupid but I can't understand how a brand new computer can turn into this!
As additional info, i installed some programs like winamp and open office and they worked very well in the beggining, but then i believed they where the cause of this thing, but i can't find the meaning.
As my machine is a Lenovo 3000 N200 with 512 mb of RAM, 1.86 GHZ

this can be a driver error, but the error message likely does not
indicate. If a minidump file is being created. You can send it and I'll take a look at it.
    The file should reside under
C:\Windows\minidump, and you'll need to set folder options to see hidden and
system files/folders in order to locate it.

this might the RAM problem. If you install vista with more than 2gb ram it will give you such kind of errors. Reinstall the ram after getting SP1 + the most recent updates. This update: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777 . Its a known problem.

Thanks, I'd forgotten that the 2gb memory bug existed in the 64bit version as well as the 32bit version of Vista.
