Vista asks for activation after Service pack 1 update

I upgraded my HP pavilion dv 2519 from Vista Home premium to service pack 1 . Since then Vista is asking for activation .... enter new serial key ...
has anyone encountered d same problem...
plz help .

Have you bought the original cd or using a pirated version of your Windows Vista Version?

The key is either for gold or platinum you need to download the one for your key,fab hd decrypter is free needs no key. it is not like nero where different keys enables different features.Download either the gold/platinum at the top of this forum then your key will work,if you look at the key it says either gold or platinum.
