jmraidsetup.exe

Hello,

I have noticed "JMraidsetup.exe boot" on my start up tasks and i dont recognize it. its in the system32 folder and im wondering if its safe to delete?

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is it okay to shut down this process through the Task Manager? What does this process do anyways (it seems to be launching as part of the Windows startup)?

Re: jmraidsetup.exe

Hi,

JMRaidSetup.exe is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. The file size on Windows XP is 1,953,792 bytes. The program has a visible window. The program starts when Windows starts (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). The file is not a Windows system file. JMRaidSetup.exe is able to record inputs.

Do you have OnBoard RAID on your Motherboard? How about an add-on card? JMicron JMB36X RAID Controller

Re: jmraidsetup.exe

Hi,

I had the same problem when I installed a jmicron eSATA driver.
It did the same thing when I upgraded the same driver.
It forces a full uninstall and reinstall.
