How to increase the speed of a Fan

When i had my comp built the fans were running really load so my comp guy slowed down the fans now it runs at 55-60 degrees celcius and when i play a game it goes to 70. I switched my bios to default and that didnt seem to work? any ideas how he did this? My motherboard is an Asus BD7

Your BIOS might have some options for the fan speeds, you can try turning various power saving related options off.

There tends to be an auto fan speed in your BIOS (is on mine anyway), which you could try tinkering with, or as IcY18 said, if you can adapt it so it DOESN'T run through your MB it should run at full speed all the time
