    Hey!
    Try this out :

    • Click on start menu
    • Click on turn off
    • then when the three option come press and hold "Shift" key.
    • You will find the "Standby" option switches to "Hibernate" option
    • Done!

    Have Fun!

    Hey!
All the symptoms say that your computer can't go to standby mode so hibernating wouldn't be possible. Make sure you install all the drivers problely then go to control panel. click on power management and go to Hibernate tab. Now check the enable hibernating box. This would solve your problem, But make sure all your drivers are installed...!

Hey dude go to control panel-->Power Options-->Hibernate tab, and enable hibernate from here. Click ok and try using the shift key now on the turn off option.
