I don't know what happen suddenly but this is really frustrating for me. Does any one have any idea about this issue? Kindly help me out to resolve this issue.

Try Start/Run and Type sfc /scannow then hit enter
watch the space between sfc and / you will need your XP CD, put it in when asked.
This is a system file restoration and will replace any corrupt or missing files. It will not affect any of your settings or documents.

    Some general things to try.

See if System Restore will get you back to a restore point before your problem with Explorer.

Try to run in Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing "Sfc /Scannow" in it.

Have you scanned for virus/trojans, etc.? I prefer the free Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware. If you keep getting remnants after scanning. Disable Auto Recovery and scan in Safe Mode.

Run a full system scan for virus and spyware, then go find your xp install disk.

Go to start-->Run--> Then type "SFC /scannnow". That should check all your critical windows files to make sure they haven't been corrupted or removed.

Try to download "GetOpenClipboardWindow.zip" from the Microsoft official website. Then try to Unzip and then run the tool.
