system freezes

hi i am using window xp with service pack 3 , havind ie 8 bata installed on my computer .
when ever i try to download any video from the internet , my system freezes up ?
help me

Use Mozilla Firefox its a good browser & stable too.
Why do you use IE 8 beta? You can use IE7!

Hello , Turn on and use IE7 emulation in IE8 Beta. There's a button on the toolbar that activates it. You will need to restart the browser again.

Scan your pc, if the drivers are missing
