angry Problem while using Xp service pack 3

Hey Guys,

Recently i have installed Windows Xp Service Pack 3. But i'm having problem while using it. It has deleted all my restore points and all my network connections. Not only that it has also deleted my internet connection as well as changed my settings. I cannot find my Internet Explorer 7 on my pc. Can any one help me out how do i restore all my settings back on my system and how do i get rid of this problem? Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hey i think Windows Service Pack 3 has not installed properly on your machine. Follow the below steps and try to install again.

Re: Problem while using Xp service pack 3

It due to the following error that might be causing you the problem.

1. A machine has had Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 installed on Office XP from an administrative installation point.

2. The SP3 update is being downloaded from the Office Update site or the Microsoft Download Center.

If you are also facing the same problem, then follow these simple steps and your problem should be solved:

1. Download and install the Subinacl.exe file from here.

2. Open Notepad and paste following code.

3. Save the file with name "SP3.bat".

4. Now right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator". It might take some time to complete.

5. After completion, restart your system and now you should be able to install SP3.

Hope so it may help you out to resolve your issue.
