Significant changes are made to many files and processes to improve the system security, reliability, and functionality of Windows XP. As a result, when you install Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), these changes can affect some third-party programs.

If you have installed Windows XP SP3 and are experiencing functionality issues with a program that is other than above three mentioned, then
    follow these steps-

Step 1: Restart the computer to see whether this resolves the issue.
If it does not, try step 2.

Step 2: Check the program vendor Web site for any available updates that make the program compatible with Windows XP SP3, or any upgraded versions of the program released after the Windows XP SP3 release date.
Step 2: Check the program vendor Web site for any available updates that make the program compatible with Windows XP SP3, or any upgraded versions of the program released after the Windows XP SP3 release date.
If this does not resolve the issue, try step 3.

Step 3: Report this issue to the program vendor. You can locate a contact link at the vendor Web site or using the links provided in the "References" section. Additionally, you can request from the vendor a program update or a later version of the program if one is not available on the vendor Web site.
