msstdfmt.dll file missing

hello,

I made a small program that works very well under XP.
once transferred to vista, and I got message:
"Class not registered.

The following file must be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL "

That file is on the computer, same directory as the one in XP (c:\windows\system32)

I tried with regsvr32, and it gives me the error: "dll loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8002801c"

and my program does not always

Can someone tell me what I can do that my program works again?

Try to check in as an administrator:

Search the shortcuts from the command prompt. You are doing a right click on it and you choose 'Run as administrator'.
Then in the command prompt, you type 'regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\MSSTDFMT.DLL' and click ok.
