    Debian Stable testing

    hi
i have a small question, but I can not find answer for it

I have Debian 'Stable' run. Now I want the "newer" updates have Debian Unstable I have something to risk. So I wanted to go for the Debian 'testing'.

Can I in Debian 'stable' something checked, an option, or something like that so I have a Debian 'testing' do?

You can easily adjust, via a terminal to open.
    This type:

    Code:
    su
    <your paswoord>
    nano / etc / apt / sources.list

Then you see a lot of text, you can change.
Change it to "etch" in the species you want
    This 4x so.

Top comment line for your CD-ROM, through that medium as you will never get updates.

Then ctrl + o to save, and ctrl + x to exit nano.
get update to the new servers to speak, and you can immediately update via apt-get dist-upgrade then.

If this happened, did you run testing.

    Re: Debian Stable testing

    Code:
    #
    #
    # Deb cdrom: [Debian GNU / Linux 5.0.0 _Lenny_ - NETINST Official i386 Binary-1 20090214-16:03] / lenny $

    # deb cdrom: [Debian GNU / Linux 5.0.0 _Lenny_ - NETINST Official i386 Binary-1 20090214-16:03] / lenny $

    lenny main deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/
    deb-src http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/ lenny main

deb http://security.debian.org/ lenny / updates main
    deb-src http://security.debian.org/ lenny / updates main

deb http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile lenny / volatile main
    deb-src http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile lenny / volatile main

This was standard in it. Here is everything all right
But this is already in the "stable" version.
