Problem with Connect.dll

Hello,

I can not detect any network and I'm using cable network,
It says that connect.dll is absent! I downloaded from the Microsoft site and if I want to install on my pc , but when i tried I got

"The installation encountered an error: 0x80080005" "Failed to execute the server"!

Any help please ? thanks in advance

Since when this problem occurred (installation of software, updated windows, driver)?

Have you tried to restore your system to an earlier date?

DLL-Downloads.com has an excellent tutorial that demonstrates how to install .DLL files in Windows. Fortunately, the process of installing .DLLs is pretty easy. In a nutshell, all you need to do is copy the original .DLL file to C:\Windows\System32. Once the .DLL is copied over, run the following command:

regsvr32 filename.dll

and your .DLL will be successfully installed. The tutorial works perfectly well on Windows XP and Windows Vista.
