windows update wont turn on, doesnt exist in services

Hey guys,

Im kinda new to this forum and forgive me if this is a double post, couldnt find anything on this particular problem. I tried to turn on my automatic updates earlier today as windows kept telling me my computer was at risk and couldnt get it it to turn back on. so i went into my computer/manage/services to try and manually start them and i couldnt actually find it in there, its as if its been deleted from the services file. Ive run multiple scans with AVG 8, registry mechanic, ccleaner, super anti spyware and others and nothings come up. any help would be much appreciated as its got me stumped.
